Balaclava Wool Alpaca Pompoms - Sand Melange

The balaclava has a rounded fit that covers the forehead, ears and neck, with a wide elastic rib trim around the face opening to keep it in place. The hem is split, with extra length at the back so it stays tucked under the jacket.

The outer layer is a warm merino wool blend, and the inside is lined with soft velour that feels lovely against the skin.

The pompoms are hand-sewn in Bolivia from Fairtrade-certified alpaca fur. Each pompom is unique in colour and character – no dyeing is involved, only nature's own shades. The pompoms are washable; see the garment's care label.

Material: 84% wool, 16% polyester. Lining: 80% cotton, 20% polyester

Care: Wash only when needed, using a mild wool detergent and no fabric softener. Choose a gentle wool programme with a low spin and turn the hat inside out, or hand wash in lukewarm water. Reshape while damp and leave to dry flat – not on a radiator or in a tumble dryer.
